I thought the Minni deal was fair....It's basically Dumba for Eberle, and some cap relief for Minni with the disposal of Vanek.

Just for some number crunching. Wild only have 10mil to sign 8 players next year. I basically see Kemper and Zucker costs roughly $4mil together, which is probably on the lower end of things. That its 6mil now for 6 players. With Dumba signed for the 3.5mil I have hear; it is impossible to sign 5 guys at 500k a guy. plus now you are paying 3.5 mil for your 4/5 d man.

This trade gives wild a better winger and cap space to get a better centerman in Free agency. To sweeten the deal i am sure Oilers would even retain half of Korpi Salary

Ya I thought that trade to MIN was unfair for EDM, Eberle is exactly what Minny could use, goal scoring young winger
