When it actually hit the net. He was the definition of high potential player. He easily had the skill set to be a top 5 player in the nhl but he also never came close to hitting that potiental full time

If they kept forsberg they probably dont give Wilson a 6 role. They don’t draft vrana. They maybe don’t sign Carlson due to cap issues. Sometimes these things can be a blessings though they don’t seem like it at the time.

True. I think Wilson still ends up in top 6, but might not have Vrana (though most likely would because he was projected to go around pick 20). We definitely wouldn't have Oshie re-signed though.
