So Kreider for a 13F, a maybe never 6/7d, an almost 2nd and almost 5th??? Another way of looking at this; Kreider for an almost 2nd round pick. Then we'll have to wait 3-6 years, and hope he turns into a Kreider, let alone an nhler. Zero reason for NYR to do something like this.
ok ok, lets get this straight. Kreider is a top 6 himself. Nordstrom, yes isn't great but he looked not too bad on the top 6 earlier this season with Krejci and DeBrusk. He is a top 9 scoring liner, not close to a 13F, or unless you want Kuraly (bottom 6), Accari (bottom 6), or Wagner (bottom 6, or 3rd checking line). You haven't watched the bruins during the injury have you? Zboril made quite a difference in the lineup, with 4 guys getting called up. He didn't play great, but he played solid, solid enough to get the Bruins a win. He is on pace to become a top 4 Dman, a casual mid 1st pick in any normal draft (not 2015). honestly, a late first can get you a top 6 foward or a top 4 Dman, like K'andre Miller, who has shown to be solid. Who cares about the 4th, you still can get steals at that round, its basically steals until the 5th round and theres no more. Heinen was a 4th round pick if I am not wrong. So if you look at the value, 3rd scoring line, top 4D, top 6F/top 4D, and a bet that the Rangers can take, honestly, its quite fair for a 27 year old top 6F if you think about it. You can say everyone the Bruins have is junk, because thats what you are saying when you say Zboril is junk.
