Wayne Simmonds & Elliott (a cap dump) for Hortons cap (one yr @ 5.3M) & only one 1st ..... nobody is trading away two 1st's

Same goes for Lehtera (not worth a 1st) .... for Callahan & 4th

I like the other 2 deals

Tampa is going to need to free up some cap space to re-sign Point. Thought process is that they'd much rather slide back from late first round to early third pick than to lose Point.

Simmonds gets you a first on his own. Taking on Horton's contract and sending them a solid goalie (albeit when healthy) gives them a huge boost for the playoffs and allows them to contend with TBL. This is Toronto's last chance before they have to start paying everyone (Matthews, Marner, Johnsson, Kapanen). May be willing to get an extra first for that reason.
