Deadline Moves

Description
Quick explanation of each trade:

Rakell has underperformed immensely this year and has both youth and controllability. I see this being the unlikeliest of all of the moves Anaheim could make, as he'll probably bounce back next year, but maybe they pull the trigger quickly to get some good young pieces back. Boston gets him because they have no depth scoring and adding some stability to a second line centered by Krecji with Debrusk on the wing.

The Silfverberg trade occurs because Toronto will be looking to shed extra money in Brown's contract and add another scoring winger for a playoff push. Silfverberg looks extremely likely to move at the deadline and I think Toronto would be a good fit.

Miller signed with Anaheim to be in California, but the allure of a championship could lure him elsewhere, especially for a mere three months. Vegas is close to home and needs a better backup goalie, who can give Fleury a break in March and April so he is fresh for the playoffs. Anaheim gets back a young goalie with some potential left to fill in behind Gibson and a draft pick for a round they don't have one in.

Anyways, just some quick thoughts on what this dumpster fire might do at the deadline. The Rakell trade is a bit of a hot take, but they might be getting desperate so you never know....

Just some quick thoughts on some of the guys I could see Anaheim moving at the deadline, there's no doubt they'll be sellers if they can't turn things around like right now.

Rakell is going no where unless you offer the farm. Miller probly won’t be traded. he has a NTC and is hurt. Silfverberg is probly the only guy with any value that the ducks have.

Terrible. Ducks aren’t trading Rakell. Period.
