    Adding extra mediocre pieces doesn't make a trade better. Nylander is worth way more than a bottom pair defenceman, a pending UFA and a non prospect. This is just silly.

    I think you're wrong. Nylander is overrated garbage, in fact he may be giving up too much for him. Stop the bias!

    If he is garbage why does pretty much everyone keep trading him to their team?

    Disagree with Gudas assesment but yeah, trade is garbo for TO (not being sarcastic).

    Simmonds is a special breed of NHL player, he can score, he can hit, he can fight, he is a leader in the room and on the ice. He's the type of player Toronto needs to get past Boston/Tampa/caps. Gudas has changed his game so he can be a solid top 4 RHD and finally Oskar Lindblom isn't a "non prospect" he's a solid middle six winger that can kill penalties. Just my opinion tho

    Idk I actually thought that stopped after his contract was signed and his poor performance. Teams maybe are looking at upside but can he get 60 points without matthews? I don't think so
