    I doubt the Islanders would trade a 3rd and a defensemen they view very highly for one who hasn't played in the NHL and 1st overall bust who is going to be a project.

    And the Leafs certainly don't want Fayne....he did clear waivers for a reason. Why the Oilers so anxious to trade for RFA Barrie. Keep your first rounder and since the Oilers have plenty of cap room, you can fill in a defence spot or two with UFAs. Maybe not as good as Barrie but cheaper and you still got the 4th pick overall.
