Granlund wouldn't fetch that much. Gudas and one of those prospects at best..

Kane to Minny
This is pretty bad, the Wild aren't trading Brodin he's too important. Think Scandella for Kane straight up.

If Hanzal is going to return a 1st then Versteeg would too IMO. Versteeg is only a year older and has better production this season.

Dream Deadline (updated)
So I'm guessing you think...
Drouin=Johnson (Maybe, but I don't think EJ is good enough to return Drouin)
2nd round pick= Sustr, Condra, and a 7th????
Come on..

Three Way Trade (Wild, Jets, Oilers)
Bob Mackenzie had Brodin on his Calder list after his rookie year.. He has scored on a 19 point pace every season except for last year and now people think he's some scrub. I would take Brodin over Trouba every time, the only reason I would trade him is because HE DOES have a lot of value and CAN bring in a young high caliber center. Do you forget that teams were calling about him last trade deadline...?

CapFriendly's most logical trades - Bjugstad for Brodin
I like Bjugstad but what has he seriously done to make you think he's a 1C...? He is going to give us the same production as Granlund (which is not a slight as I love Granny), but that isn't 1C production IMO. Also his herniated disc surgery is a huge red flag for the Wild.

3rd OA
If the cap is actually at 71.4 million it would be tough, but if the inflator is used it would hopefully be around 73 million. If this trade happened they could buyout Tyutin, and then still have 6,725,000 to sign Seth Jones even with Brodin and Coyle. It could work.

Big moves
I guess I disagree, I think his one year contract is valuable for a team that needs to get to the cap floor. Scandella is only 26 years old, and had 21 points in a down year (a lot of people think his father's death impacted his game this year). If the Yotes draft a dman at 7 they hope he turns into the complete player Scandella is. I think Barrie is worth more than the 7OA and Scandella would make their dcore very competitive. Also Minnesota is in a WIN NOW mode so this makes sense.

Wild/Islander & Wild/Habs Trades
Montreal isn't going to give up a 22 year old 30 goal scorer for that. I want Galchenyuk on the Wild more than any other center but it will take more than that.
The Islanders trade is interesting though.

WPG minor (realistic?) trade
I guess I don't know the Yotes roster extremely well, but I would think they would want a dman in that trade. They should have a lot of fire power in terms of young forwards going forward (Domi, Duclair, Strome, Dvorak, Rieder, Dauphin,).

Offersheet Seth Jones
So assuming the cap is 74 million and CBJ goes with their current roster on this website, they will have $7,442,857 in cap space. The minimum wage in the NHL is $525,000. If someone offer sheets Jones for more than $6,392,857, they can't afford to match the offer, unless they plan on dressing 21 players, moving contracts, or playing a lot of people with ELC's or cheap contracts. Kekäläinen will have to make some good moves if this is a possibility.

Isles with vanek and drouin
It will cost us 1,500,000 next year to buy Vanek out and then 2,500,000 the next year. Unless we are getting a 2nd or 3rd for him we'll most likely buy him out.

Nah from Minnesota. I like Spooner but he's nowhere near worth Tuch and Brodin. San Jose pick is 29 or 30, it would have to be the 14OA. LOL a 2017 2nd... Terrible for the Wild.
