Kuhnackl and Wilson are career AHL players. Sheary is a 4th liner on a good team. The only one who is solid is Rust. The biggest reason why pens fans think Blueger is a solid player is because they lack talented prospects. Majority of NHL teams have players similar to Blueger and they never get NHL time because theres better prospects in the system

It's clear you don't watch Wilkes Barre at all. He fits the Pens very well, he's just stuck in a center filled organization. Lots of AHL guys make an impact when given a chance nowadays. Besides, he can't be much worse than Brass.

Why has he been in the AHL all year then? The pens chose to sign Cullen and Grant and resign Sheahan this past offseason rather than giving Blueger a shot. That says something... Plus you missed my entire point. Pens fans think Blueger is a solid player because of the lack of prospect talent. Teams with a good prospect or semi good prospect pool dont get that excited over players like Blueger

I hope I’m wrong. But let’s not jump the gun after less than a handful of games
