I don't think Hayes Zucc and Vesey have to be retained. Also there is a limit of 3 contracts that a team can retain at one time. I think you can get a better deal trading Vesey, and the Zucc for Vesa and a first isn't happening. By the slim chance the Jets trade Vesa for Zucc you're gonna at the least need to add a cap dump and change the 1st to a 3rd or 4th round pick. I value Zucc very highly but most people do not. The other trades look okay value wise to me.

EDIT: Maybe the Nashville trade is a bit much too. We will probably not get a 1st and Tolva unfortunately.

haha at first take it was retain as much as ya can like the rangers always do. Figure zucc brings back a late 1st/early second and a good prospect. thrown in the mcquaid defensive depth and solid playoff experience and with a little luck we might swing something nice. the nashville trade might need a fast sweetner at second glance.
