With Eller out, Gagner could help at 3C. I moved Boyd to 2R for Kuznetsov's weak-side faceoffs. That trickles down to DSP being a healthy scratch. I don't like that last part, but I think this adds some offense to the lineup this year, in exchange for a a little tough checking, and a lot of potential offense, in the future.

Could probably swap Gagner for Sutter, if you wanted all defense, no offense, instead of the opposite, now that there's some cap space. With Eller out, the Caps are missing a lot of both, so neither answer is ideal. I'd prefer McDavid, but I hear he's busy. :)

Canucks aren't moving Stecher rn he's their 3rd best defenseman. Goldobin has more points than burakovsky as well.

Burakovsky value will be inflated cuz he's young but I'm actuality the guy has struggled to put up points with the likes of ovechkin and backstrom

Not interested unless it's cheap. Plus the guys ur sending over to the canucks are bottom 6 nhlers and canucks have enough of those

Burakovsky has been struggling a lot this season but the "he can't get points playing with Backstrom and Ovechkin" argument isn't fair when he doesn't play with them. He's been 3rd and 4th line basically the entire season.

I thought so!! People have been telling me that he's been playing in the top 6 and I was questioning it so hard bcuz who wouldn't produce with those guys.

I still don't want the canucks to remove Stecher

Yes Hutton would be better imo. Although recently he's been super good. But then again the canucks have Hughes and Juolevi coming up so he is expendable

Neat. I think either one would upgrade the experience and endurance on the Caps' third pair.
