This solves all of the problems that the Caps have had since Beagle signed with Vancouver. Five stars. And of course we all accept with our hearts.

If it needs to be said, the value is off because a 4C should not cost $3M under the current cap, and Beagle is unlikely to get much younger, during the three years on his contract, while Burakovsky still has a good bit of growth potential, and has more playoff points/game, both last year and career.

In another thread, a Vancouver fan is offering Brandon Sutter, who is basically Beagle, three years younger, with a worse cap hit, plus Goldobin, who is like Burakovsky with a hundred fewer career points, for Burakovsky plus Connolly. So there's that..... smile

Thanks for responding. We all know this would never happen and no way it should, but there has to be a way to get balance of team to remember what it takes for "Back to Back".
I want "B2B" enough to make a dumb trade and deal with it next season.

Just get Beags at 50% retention, and we'd be good!
