That’s a lot of cap for CBJ to be taking in, I think they say no for that reason. Even though Florida Pick holds a lot of value, I don’t think CBJ would be interested in 5.1M in Cap for average players, maybe if they got someone like Malgin (young with some upside) a deal like this could work

Trade for Howard instead of quick, he's gonna cost way less so you can at least make a profit switching goalies.

I believe just quick will be able to sustain us goaltending wise for longer. His overall playoff number are great and he is very consistent. Howard is looking like he may resign back in Detroit. and if we trade bob we will need a goaltender to help korpi to keep us in playoff contention year after year till younger goal tenders are ready.

I just believe that to get quick we would need a 1st round pick. so if CBJ has to add to that deal they most likely will to get a 1st
