Girgensons would probably want something like 2M.

Skinner has said before that he's looking for 8M minimum.

As for the trades, Edmonton probably won't take Okposo unless they're compensated for it.

And St Louis doesn't accept that trade for Schenn

Edmonton has about $14 million to spend with about 14 players signed, No way they can afford to add Okposo's $6 million without sending back similar cap. And Anaheim is high on Montour. Doubt that's enough for him.

Seems the class has missed the point of "dream offseason" While I don't think these trades are unrealistic, I also don't expect all of them to happen. Girgensons gets nothing close to 2 million, Skinner hasn't said crap about wanting exact dollar amounts. You're just hearing what the media is reporting, again this is a dream scenario.... Schenn will be on his final year of a deal, they're getting a solid center prospect, two higher end picks and a top 4 defenceman on a reasonable contract, why wouldn't they accept that again....?

Fair point.. Had us taking back Spooner so it's just a 2 million increase for them this year but I guess the Sabres could take back money on Okposo's deal. I was just laying out a dream scenario.

Because a 2nd and a 4th are not higher end picks

Also with your name I suspect you may be a tad biased
