Lilly is unproven at the NHL level and has been hurt. He shows promise, but Pesce has already established himself and an NHL player and a top-four pairing defenseman at that. Lilly may turn into that; he may not. That's the problem with prospects. The Leafs are getting a proven commodity, whereas Carolina is gambling that Lilly (and the pick) may turn into something at the NHL level. Brown is one of two odd men out in Toronto as the cap issues loom once Marner and Kap get there money.

Yes, you're correct...I didn't put a fourth line on there, as those are fairly easy to put together and often change in the off-season.
