What I see realistically happening next season as for roster goes

Description
I see Liljegren as being ready or close to ready by the october of 2019 and likely his minutes would be limited because of slowly bringing him up in the lineup. I see also Dermott being pumped with more and more minutes as time progresses because he is very very good with and without the puck in every given situation. Also I see Toronto moving Marleau to be orpiked. League would be investigating it as hard as they did investigate Lupul's LTIR situation.. they can do nothing until new CBA is sign. It was done before and would be done again, if they rule it as illegal a lot of shade would go to Capitals organization. Leafs would give a few young players a chance to develop into proper players, including their 2016 2nd round pick Yegor Korshkov and russian FA RHD Alexander Yelesin who 2 was Dubas scouting on his trip to Russia along with C Sergei Andronov who is unlikely to sign here as of now. And I picked Turkulainen to be signed (shocker) as he has some connection to leafs and is playmaker who can make Marlies stronger. Also I see them signing 2 unsigned FAs from basically the Leafs' affiliate in Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, C Keeghan Howdeshell and RHD Jordan Sambrook (who is pretty similar to Muzzin with his background and development), Patrik Berglund, whose contract was terminated might be looking for a chance on NHL team and Leafs can offer him that role of depth C on 4th line or LW on 4th line. As Ennis as example, I see them pulling this move again. They would also help him with his mental side. Could be a good pickup for 800k-1mil. I see him having Ennis like rejuvenance. If not just send him somewhere else..

Also I left the team 1mil in cap space in case of potential offersheet from Montreal or different team for Kapanen.

    Additional Details:
Marleau being Orpiked and Brown moved is first part.

This would be similar trade to the Washington moving and re-signing Orpik when they moved a need to NJ along with player needing to shed salary and Washington actually received 2nd round pick. Given that they NEEDED goalie and Devils would like having (in their team he would be) top-6 forward I lowered price coming back. Mueller is 7th D on Devils and Leafs would sign him to 1yr contract for 800k to see what he has to offer in depth role, I see potential in him for 3rd pairing LHD role with Liljegren who is likely going to either start from beginning or within a month or two from the beginning of the season.

He could if he agrees to. Thing is that the team which would buy him out would carry 6.25mil of pure cap hit for that year.

I like the theory and concept of the idea, and bringing Marleau back for 1MM would be great, but we'd have to sweeten the pot to get someone to eat the 6.25M, and I don't think it's connor brown...

Lets just look at the Washington deal of Orpik and Grubauer for 2nd.. its similar trade and fills the need for both teams while NJ is giving lesser value. They would use few ELCs next year so even that 6.25 benefits them as well.

I even noticed the implication that Joseph Woll will stay at BC his last year. I like people to finish their college education!

That was my point. I like when players finish their education to be useful even after their NHL career or in case of injury. Woll would still be with Leafs after he ends his education. I see Woll as being the starter after Freddy so patience is good thing.
