Montreal isn't giving the Rangers a 2nd round pick for a 3rd liner. We simply don't need him nor will he improve our team.

I think he would improve your team. He's better than Shaw, Armia or Hudon. And he's not a rental. But I get that you want to keep your picks.

He is better than Hudon. Shaw is 100% better than him. We could argue Armia, but Armia provides more for Montreal than he is worth.

I actually like all of this. You don't need to add a 3rd to get a 1st for Zucc though. He gets a 1st all on his own.

The Sharks consider that. That's one of their few solid prospects remaining. I'm not sure they can give you that 1st though. It might be tied up with Karlsson trade.

You are right. If Erik Karlsson re-signs and SJS reach the SC finals, that pick is traded to Ottawa.
