Im a huge Leafs fan but what in the hell is this? People like you is the reason why everyone bashes the Leafs. awful trades Amazing for Leafs.
Just accept the fact that Leafs are going to be gutted this offseason.

Ottawa is going to lose Duchene, Stone, and Dzingle. They are going to need help to reach the basement cap. This is not an unprecedented move as Washington did the same thing with trading Brooks Orpik to Colorado to get bought out and then signed as a free agent for $1 million. Another team it could be is Arizona but Ottawa makes more sense.

I have a proven track record that I am as good at ACGM as Alexander Semin in a hockey fight. But these trades and signings make me look good.

Over paid a year and 1-1.5M for Kappy.
Over paid 1M for Sparks.
