Description

The Ducks need to get younger and this trade would provide them with a lot of prospects and draft picks to retool their roster with. Vesalainen is the Jets top prospect and will be in the NHL next season, Lemieux is scoring at a good rate on the Jets 4th line right now and Stanley is in his first pro season in the AHL.
The Jets get a good LHD that they need and it would allow them to trade Trouba in the summer and not worry about an immediate replacement for him.

Is this a joke? The most points this guys has had is 34, he's the same as Trouba really... 4 top 3 round picks, two quality prospects, a utility 4th-liner and a "cap dump" is too high. Would you pay that for Trouba? No. this is bad and you should feel bad.

Ducks want quality, not quantity. Not to say that pieces involved aren't quality, but they want quality in terms of an elite forward or defenseman similar to Lindholm's caliber back.

I wouldn't want to play that for Trouba no, he's pretty overrated.

Probably do but is a prospect like Vesalainen not considered quality?

Why would jets not just let kulikov play out, his contract for a million cheaper and develop from within, for ld defenseman behind morrisey, with Buffy on rd, his partner doesn’t have to be spectacular, so leaves kulikov to mentor niku or possibly morrow to play with Myers depending on off season decisions

Touche i would also rather see a addition that maybe around for a few years and continue the build, some how pull a coutiere out of philly or another team friendly deal in the league.
