What will Puljujarvi's contract look like next year?

Would they not be in a better cap position doing this trade? Is Puljujarvi really going to get THAT much more than Brown's cap hit? I don't think Edmonton would do this trade to be honest, value wise I mean.

Leafs need to shed roughly 6m in cap. Moving zaitsev and brown and replacing them with these players nets us about 1m. This means we would now have to start looking at moving a core piece like nylander. I think if zaitsev and brown are moved it is to make space. Trading zaitsev and brown and taking on a young Dman on an elc who can play bottom pair would solve our cap problem. Even a player like mayfield with a 1.5m cap hit would net us close to 5m in cap space.
