Pens Deadline

Created by: PhilTheThrill
Team: 2018-19 Pittsburgh Penguins
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 17, 2019
Published: Feb. 17, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Small trade for a depth F and depth D. I really like Leipsic, he is young and I think would do well with the Pens. Also, Fantenberg last year was a really nice 7th D man and just gives options.

The only problem I have with Leipsic is that he bounces around a lot. With Pittsburgh though, he would be able to stay in the lineup as a depth option rather easily since the team will likely send Garrett Wilson down to Wilkes-Barrie Scranton.

if they need depth it's sitting in WBS. I can not believe with how well Angelo is playing down there they have not brought him up for at least a 4th line role.

Its worked out so far with Blueger, so why not try Angello as well?

exactly, he's down there, he's a 4th line right hand shot. They can either put Blueger at center and Angelo at RW or reverse them. I mean hell, what do they have to lose. It's 4th line. like 8 minutes a night. See what ya got. He's 6'5 and he likes to hit. How do you go wrong with that in a 4th line role?
