Kreider ain't going anywhere this deadline. Maybe next year when he's on the last year of his contract.

Why do people think that by adding their unwanted pieces to a deal, this somehow adds value to the deal? the reason you don't want them is the same reason for other people to not want them....

Is it not reasonable to think that Kreider and Zucc could fetch Kylington, 1st and 2nd alone? (if CGY is lucky). Why would adding Frolik and Czarnik be the push over the top? That would be like NYR countering with "Ok how about this: We'll do the deal above but we add Beleskey and Smith to the deal? Cool?".....Nooo that completely reverses the value of the deal!

That’s a hard pass. Both worth more to the rangers in separate trades.

Nobody thinks it adds more value. However, there is thing thing called a cap.

Zucc is obviously an upgrade to frolik hence why there is an added 3rd rd and a bottom 6 forward.

Yes but that cap problem only affects Calgary. Not NYR. They don't have to do anything.

Rags don't have to take on those players. That's Calgary's problem. NYR are offering the goods, its up to you to meet their demands or they'll take there business elsewhere. NOW, if you say "listen, I can't afford to take those guys on without giving you Frolik and Czarnik back, how about I send those guys to you and for doing so, I'll throw in an additional pick and prospect?

Simply not having the cap space to make the trade is not the other teams responsibility when dealing good players. You don't have the cap space? That's your problem not mine. We can however work something out that compensates me for helping you out though. But it ain't free.

Yeah Krieder retained (50%) would bring a minimum of a 1st, top prospect, middle prospect and probably another pick/lower roster guy.

You said zucc is worth more in a seprate trade. He was worth a 2nd and 3rd.

I said, or should have, both (traded separately) are worth more to the rangers than traded together. Zucc could re-sign and then it’s a 1st and 2nd. I didn’t mean they each would be worth more than this offer. Just that the two deals would exceed this IMHO.
