Toronto is not trading prospects, picks, and a better starting goalie for two aging guys on not very good contracts (even if they're great players) even if you take those bad contracts from them

That Montreal-Toronto trade doesn't make any sense for Toronto and Montreal
1- Price has a NMC in his contrat. I doubt he'll waive it to go to Toronto. If he wanted to go to a contender he could've pulled a "Tavares" move.
2- Toronto doesn't have the Cap hit to take the contract of Price and Weber. (They have Matthews and Marner that will eat a large portion of the Cap)
3- Sandin is one of the untouchable of Toronto (along with Liljeggren) because they need help on the blueline and both players will be able to do so in the future
4- I know Montreal has a history of trading their Captain but they won't trade Weber that soon because they just made him captain

2-Do you really think that Price will stay in Montréal if he have a chance to play with Weber, Tavares and Matthews and Reilley??
3- Sandin is one of the untouchable?? He is a late 1er round I don't think he is untouchable...
