The first deal doesn't make sense for the Canucks. Should be 3rd pick to Canucks to take Kulikov's contract

Why not...maybe take out a pick or something but we need a decent LD for the playoffs...I dont want Niku, Kulikov or Morrow playing in the playoffs...We need to solidify the top4 D.

Niku is a top prospect...... why would you want to trade him for a depth D man

Mart is not a depth D...He will be on the LD second pairing...for three years as well...He also has plenty of playoff experience...small stat but he is a (+/-)+4 on a bad LAK team
