      That’s an interesting proposal.

I think the Flames do need a better 3rd like centre. I’m not huge on Jankowski.

However, I think the Flames like Bennett still as he is one of the few players they have that can play with an edge.

It’s a tough call though. If it was for Jankowski though it would be a no brainer for me

I like Bennet and Tierney seems to be trending in the right direction so to me this looks like it'd be selling low on Tierney. I just wonder if Tierney' numbers are inflated both in ST and Ottawa by circumstance of linemates/ice time or if he's really that good.

From the Flames games I've watched this season Jankowski and Bennett both play with an edge and Bennett seems like he's gonna be the perfect 3C to me, that Hathaway guy plays with an edge too.
With those three in your bottom 6 I think Calgary is well built for a long playoff run.

Tierney is not a 2C lmao. he's a 2C on the Sens because they have no better options. . & would be a 3rd C on the flames behind Monahan & Backlund. flames might wanna keep Bennett based off his grit & being a high draft pick, & the fact that he's younger an still has more potential

Tierney hasn't benefitted from others, he's barely had the chance to play with Dzingel, Duchene or Stone because Duchene and White have been our top 2 Cs for the majority of the season.
Tierney was a 3C for us, was saddled with pretty bad players and is still on pace for over 50 points (which is 2C production).
The guy is only 24 years old and has high hockey IQ. Just watch him play. I think it would be a great deal for Calgary to upgrade to a 45-50pt 3C.

Tierney has more points than Backlund btw. So how is Backlund a 2C but Tierney isn't?

Thanks for the info, was hoping my team would've traded for him. I think GM's that were looking for a center were pretty dumb to not try to pry Tierney from Dorian, bet he could've been had for a fairly reasonable price and he would've provided great value.
