As much as I love Fast, I don't see the Rangers resigning him. So including him is fine.

We have other Defensive Prospects coming up, which makes Day expendable.

Rather keep DeAngelo over Pionk, so that's fine with me.

Howden and Andersson aren't touched, so we keep our Center depth.

Late 1st and a 2nd is worth it. May have to clear some salary (especially Smith) beforehand. But the Rangers would absolutely take this deal.

Not too sure about the payment. Seems like an overpay on nyr end considering trouba will be gone from winnipeg nonetheless and with nyr rebuilding they would besitant to move the 1st rounder and 2nd. I can see the 1st not being moved but adding something else into the deal with those other 4 pieces. Rangers know a rebuild is a must and we are in no rush until the 2021 season where shatty smith staal and lundqvist contracts fall off the books. Until then its really a slow rebuild with maybe some extra acquisitions and we do need our draft picks as we will be bottem dwellers for probably at least 1 more year.

Not true at all, the first in this proposal is Winnipeg's likely 24-31. Reports are that NYR have every intention of getting better in a hurry and adding pieces this summer. Gorton does not intend on dragging out the rebuild a second longer than need be. NYR likely cash in on Panarin and a top 4 D this summer preferably someone as young as Trouba.
