Trade idea for summer.

Edmonton needs a rhd that can move the puck. Ellis is used to taking big minutes and can move the puck well. Would be a good role model for Bouchard are he comes up in the league. Sissons (or jarnkrok if preferred) could slot in at 3C for Edmonton at a good price too. Both players are versatile and can play on wing or center and up and down the lineup.

Nashville takes a steady dman that would pair well with Josi. His shorter contract will allow Nashville time to evaluate fabbro and if he develops well they let Larsson walk in free agency. Nashville takes the risk that in the proper setting puljujarvi will develop into the player people thought he could when he was drafted.

Duchene is brought in via free agency and bonino is sent out to make cap space. Similarly smith could be sent out but bonino (or even turris) would be ideal since their contracts are longer. Smith would be allowed to walk as a ufa opening space to extend granlund and Josi.

Nashville signs pitlick and fabbro to entry level deals. Both appear ready for the next step. Pitlick has been going at about a point per game through three seasons in college hockey and fabbro looks nhl ready as well.
