Dude as a Rangers fan I'd take that trade and then block ur number and never speak to you again. Pionk is horrible. I'd say hes a average teams 7th dman at best

Ive been saying this and I'm a true believer that Pionk has the potential to be a good cost efficient (for the time being) NHL player if he works on his physical strength within the next couple of years. I would argue for a higher round draft pick if we are taking on the Eaves contract otherwise I would see close to fair value in a 1 for 1 swap. Thoughts?

If i'm not mistaken, isnt Comtois an NHL ready top 6 ceiling forward? Pionk has a ceiling of maybe a bottom pair guy who can get some PP2 min. If I was ANA I would not even do 1 for 1.

Interesting I thought Comtois had middle 6 ceiling and Pionk had 2nd pair ceiling with Pionk having a full season and a half under his belt and Comtois having only a few games.
