Very glad you put Bergeron & Barkov in the top 10, those guys are underrated as hell and do so much on both ends of the ice

Andy why in the world is Crosby the same overall as McDavid? McDavid has 114points right now while Crosby has 20 less points.

dude I hate Crosby but he is still the best overall player in the NHL. McDavid is better offensively doubt but Crosby is simply a better all around player. his resume speaks for itself,he has 3 cups and even this year the players voted him as the best all around player in the NHL. he has hardly regressed, at this stage in his career i think he could care less about getting 120 points he knows that all that matters is the playoffs and thats when he really steps it up

Crosby is also #2 in GAR while McDavid is 5thif youre into that sort of thing

dont get me wrong i think McDavid is better but the gap is slim if there even is one at all. hence why i gave them the same rating...


Draisaitl is elite dont get me wrong but his stats no doubt are inflated by playing with the best player in the NHL.

Bruh if McDavid was on Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh still would've won all those cups. You can't blame McDavid because he plays on a trash team.
And also according to the players McDavid is by far the better forward, dont believe me? check the NHLPA player poll

Kopitar is still elite very well rounded #1 C w above average defensive game, has 2 cups is captain and has been doing this for like 10 years now...Zibanejad has one breakout season and is all of a sudden better than him?

Just stop with the argument of the two players switching teams. Its completely dumb and irrelevant. Crosby is a better complete player. He scores, plays a 200 ft game, wins face-offs, and makes everyone better. McDavid puts up his points, but thats it

im saying that Crosby has a better overall individual effect on his team winning games through strong defensive play, faceoffs, net front puck battles etc while
still having very strong offensive production.

Draisaitl has slightly better offensive production this season than Bergeron

Bergeron (1.24 P/GP)

but still if you needed a Center for a team to win you a game 31/31 GMs are taking bergeron bc the slight difference in offensive output is outweighed by Bergerons better overall game.

Im not saying McDavid is bad at defense at all but Crosby is for sure better at it.

McDavid is better than Crosby end of story but i dont believe the difference is big enough to warrant them having a different rating than one another they are the 2 best players in the league by far

not to mention McDavid plays with Draisaitl while Crosby played like half his career with Pascal Dupuis on his wing lol

People always want to say Crosby played with dominant players and on dominant teams, but he's played with players like Dupuis, Kunitz, Rust, etc. Outside of Guentzel, he's only played with role players and still puts up outstanding numbers. Then factor in his face-offs and defense, that makes still better than McDavid
