Def one of the better armchair gms I’ve seen. We need some proven players on our 2nd and 3rd lines and Miller brings that. Looks solid

For some reason his first year, when he played 10 or so games at the end of the season, I hated him. No reason why, I just did. However after the year he had last year he became one of my favorite defenders. Nothing amazing about him but he is a very solid, reliable, and smart player. I can't even imagine how the defense would've been with him this year.

If you're going to make a trade, trade Comeau instead of Cogliano. One is better than the other in almost every situation. Second, I doubt Tampa takes that deal, but it's possible. Nichushkin has no value and even retained, I am not sure they would agree.

I love the Stralman acquisition though! He might go UFA too but I'm not opposed to trading for his rights.

Also, I am not sure we need Polak. I would rather let Bayreuther take that third pair for his puck moving ability. Polak can't drive possession regardless he's been great in limited minutes on that second pair. He just doesn't fit imo.

In the limited amount of games I've watched Comeau's been decent. Better than Cogliano, at least. He's been a bit of a disappointment.

Plus Comeau's cheaper.

Strålman brings experience to our defense. Heiskanen and Strålman would make a great pair in my opinion.

And as long as Polak keeps being such a bulldozer in our defense, I don't want him to leave. He's solid, and his physical game is entertaining to watch.
