I thought this was some great huge honor, shouldn’t their teams encourage them to go? Such a half baked argument based in nothing but anger for their politics. NHL locker rooms aren’t a monolith and individuals exists and are encouraged.

The NHL is also a business, a players new team would want them to be all in on their team, not their team from a previous year. And individuals do exist, I just wouldn't want a dumb one on my team.
