I don’t see how this fixes anything. Doesn’t make the team any better and you are not really completing a rebuild either

They lose a year of Carter's contract. They get two high potential players in Heinen and Johnsson, while giving some of their 2013 players a new place to play to change thing up.

And they still have 37 year old kovaylchuk, 32 year old kopitar, taking on 35 year old backed, 34 year old quick, and doughty with 8 more years 11 ma year, 36 year old Dustin brown, and old ass Martinez.....
