They are NHL players and I'm willing to trade them for assets that very likely will never help an NHL team at all - ever. That's a won trade for anyone who has the cap space.

I don't see that winnipeg would ever do that trade. its not worth to loose their 1st line center, and a third liner for more defense men that they don't need

Pretty sure neither player is their 1st line center. And only 1 of the returning players is a defenseman, who comes in at a time when WPG will lose either Trouba or Myers.

if im the jets i accept. you get cap relief and a pretty high draft pick. as well as a decent defenceman who can play top 4 minutes if we need.
