Description
Really only big pice gone is Ebs. He got use the 8th overall and take on Moulson as well. Gives Buffalo a top 6 guy for the cap hit they will pay.

With the Ducks, they get a package of prospects who all can potentially give them the cap relief and bottom 6 depth they will need as their top guys require larger contracts

Shattenkirk is a UFA and provides no guarantee that he will resign and since they are trying to win now and their defencemen and goalie are great Pouliot provides they a good skater with size and able to possess the puck.

What is shattenkirk's worth? How much do you give for only one year guaranteed? I gave up Pouliot strictly because their cap hits are similar and even though one is way better the fact you can only have the better asset for one year throws things off. That's my thought. I think it would be foolish to send any high draft pick to the blues for this when you can bid to sign him in a years time and wouldn't have to protect him if there is an expansion draft

you are not getting Shatty for Pouliot. Any team trading with Shatty will be pretty sure they can sign him guarantee. It's been rumored a ton that he wants to stay in the east. Trading for him would be stupid if that's the case.
