If the Rangers need to add Vesey to dump Smith, I am perfectly fine with it.

Would prefer to move him separately. Probably get a 3rd for him by himself, as opposed to the 4th you get by attaching him to Smith.

Then attaching someone like Gropp with Smith (while taking back a lesser pick) works for me. I don't have any high aspirations for him going forward with the youth on this team.

Boston trade is brutal...
Carlo is not worth anywhere near Kreider...
Why do you want Carlo... slow, no offense, will be one of those defenseman you can't get rid of in just a few years.

@xxNYRxx rangers need defensive defensemen and Carlo is extremely good at that, although it is partially a byproduct of a good system

Boston is looking to build their defense around Carlo/McAvoy/Vaak. Its also not easy to find big mobile d-men with a good first pass.
