Description
Don't think this is actually the way things go, think the build up will be more methodical. But excited they got their guy and playing around with some UFAs and buyouts that would make this team a playoff contender (with an average age under 27) immediately. Hang on to a lot of draft picks. Lots of RFAs coming due in 2020 but also tons of cap space with Green, E, and Daley. Should have some D prospects ready at that point. Drafted Dach, I think Byram will be gone. Could have easily been Turcotte or Cozens just unsure who will be there. Bought out Helm to make room.

Don't think the Leafs could match that offer sheet with their cap troubles, maybe I'm wrong. Not sure if those are the right terms or dollars for UFAs but eagerly awaiting your feedback. Please don't freak out it is a virtual gm tool on a website. Relax.

I agree steve isn't spending every dollar we have in year one but yeah Duchene maybe but I want nothing to do with karlsson. He looks noticeably less of a player than 2 or 3 years ago. Buy myers and solidify in our own zone before we break the bank on a guy like karlsson.
