Just funny that they can stay dry against the worst defencemen in the league and as you call him “trash”. This is what happens in a playoff series. You learn to target a team. I think if bruins had more offensive depth it would make it more difficult. I think the main factor was the 5 man unit. I don’t think muzzin has been great defensively but he has been very physical. The Tavares line has been solid defensively and so has zaitsev. I expect the top line to come out flying tomorrow in a very physical game. Leafs need to match the intensity. of course Zaitsev will need to play well or maybe just keep using voodoo to keep the Bergeron line off the scoresheet.

Well let’s pump the brakes here. It’s not like the series is over, it’s not like the leafs have been blowing the bruins doors off. Hockey is a game where you want a big sample size. I think Zaitsev is trash, and from the standpoint of logic, I don’t think you have a leg to stand on. The top line is in a bit of a slump. It happens. They’ll either snap out of it and the bruins will likely win the series, or they won’t and it’s over in 6. Either way, I just can’t really wrap my head around Nikita Zaitsev shutting down a line full of 100 point pace players. They went cold.
