Bowers has played 6 games in the AHL...jesus man you are trying to skew some sort of narrative around him for no reason. What is he suppose to just jump into a top 6 spot right out of the gate for a team who were deep in a playoff hunt, stealing someone eles spot when they are trying to make the playoffs? Its shocking at how negative you are trying to spin things

Hasnt done anything in the past 24 months? So that means you are disregarding his first year at BU that you were comparing to his year too as a disappontment, and just omitting he made Canada WJC....as a NCAA player, you realize that doesnt happen often unless you a star name bc Hockey Canada awlays defaults to CHL guys? Who also played well at the WJC in his role.

Sorry but you are really going out of your way to hate and not even tryign to keep an open mind here, which is shocking. I dont get it

You are trying way too hard to make Bowers look like the greatest prospect in the league here..way too hard.
He did make the WJC roster, 4th line amongst his peers. And yes hes only played 6 AHL games, but 4th line, really? Yikes.
You cant argue that his lack of AHL experience justifies his 4th line AHL position, then flip to the other side of the argument and say he will C Avs second line within 2 years lol. You are contradicting yourself.

I am not at all doing that, all I said is a guy that was projected to be a 2C in this league if he hits all his potential, that you are ingoring him in the conversation of what could be a Center solution for this team moving foward.

I am not contradicting myself at all, you are saying a guy is worthless of a C being on an ATO joining the last 4 games of the AHL season in a playoff push and played 2 playoff games. So thats the sample size you make judgement calls for? was Cale Makar a bust bc he started playing on the 3rd pairing in the NHL? I mean you are using that same exact logic here.

I am not saying HE WILL BE THE 2nd line C, not once did I say he will be it, I said that you cant dismiss it. All I am saying in the conversation of who could be it in 2 years, he shouldn't be dismissed right now. And Its foolish and wishful thinking that the 4OA is an automatic to be the 2nd line C solution just bc its a shiny new prospect.
