Philly has hart, they dont need lundqvist, the price to go from 58 to the first round (max of 32) is more than vesey, hell no on the andersson for fox trade what an overpayment for someone we can get for free in 2020 summer, weird dallas trade if you ask me

U rly think vesey wouldn’t move them up to a late first rounder?

not even a little bit. his value is essentially a 3rd rounder.. He may be enough to go from 58 to like 37-42 but not further.

Why not get McKinnon instead of the 4th overall pick? Cant undersell Jimmy Vesey.

Johnson drew a 2nd and 4th as as an overpaid pending ufa bottom 6 forward. Vesey had better stats and played better in all areas. A second and vesey can draw a late first.

Lundqvist would be a great mentor for hart for a year and a half.

He was a deadline rental that got an overpayment.. also, Johansson is the better player, you are going off of one year. Johansson put up over 40+ (or that pace) throughout his career, Vesey never has. And he drew a very late second and a fourth.

Would you trade the, lets say 28th overall pick, for picks 58, 60 and 120?

To put it in perspective, the rangers traded the 26th and 48th overall for the 22nd overall pick (just to go up 4 spots in the draft). Colorados pick can be as good as 16th if they lose, 28th or 29th if they lose in conference final (next round) or 30/31 if they make the SCF.. there is no way vesey moves them up 27 picks, which would be 31 meaning colorado wins the cup. It just doesn't happen.

We’re talking about the actual value of a player. At the time johansson was traded his value was at an all time low and still that’s what he was able to get from Boston. Vesey value is much higher than that and ill still be generous and say he is equal to a second even though he’s probably more, being a 25 year old RFA With just under 20 goals with weak line mates. 2 seconds can equal a late first and that’s just me being generous it could be a second +.
