Description

Of all the PMD available that would sign with us, Markov is still the best by far. Added to that, he only needs a one year deal. Kulak showed he is better than Benn, but he's ideally a third pair Dman who can move up for short periods of time when needed.
With Thompson resigned and Weal likely to as well, Poehling starts in the AHL, playing on a stacked line with Hudon (to regain his confidence) and McCarron (finally healthy). All three could be called up, when injuries hit.

Sorry man, but Markov is done. He wasn't fast enough for the KHL this year, so imagine in the NHL. All respect to him, but we have to move on and build the future.

I think if Markov were ok with signing as a 7th D I’d give him the opportunity run the power play abd mentor some of the young D but there’s no way he’s getting top 4 minutes
