Way too much for Arizona to give up in the Leaf trade. Maybe just Crouse.

The way I look at it. A retired Marleau costs the Leafs their second rounder. Nylander AAV of 7m is too high so that diminishes his trade value, though his actual $$$$ payout is just 4.9m which Arizona would like, I just don't think Nylander is that good. Chychrun for Nylander seems to be a steal IMO for the Leafs. Now Nylander might wake up if traded and play to the level he capable of. He kinda reminds of Kessel. Kessel had become a good/average/poor player for the Leafs game to game. That's why he was traded. The fact that he starred in Pittsburg didn't ignore the fact that he had to be traded from the Leafs at the time.....and I don't blame Kessel. Maybe the same thing will happen to Nylander, maybe he another group of players/coaches to turn the switch on.
