I don't want to sign Myers at all lol I was just going on the above situation. I get the Morin needs to play stance, but with his injuries I see him playing a 7th role for a full season and then taking over for Gudas in 2020 when his contract expires.

Myers is not the 4th RHD out of those guys, why are you so de-valuing Myers? Next year he goes in projected being in our top 4.

P Myers projects to potentially be in your top 4 next year, but the entire point of this thread is the signing of T Myers. How is it a controversial opinion to put P Myers behind T Myers and Sanheim, that shouldnt even be a debate. That's not a knock on P Myers, that's simply stating that T Myers and Sanheim are the better options.

Long term, yes if had to choose between gudas and myers, you should choose myers 100% of the time, but you're not. You're choosing between Gudas and the return for Myers, vs Myers and the return for Gudas/ Youre going to get a better return for P Myers.

If T Myers were signed, philly would essentially be locking in their Top 2 RHD for the next 4-5 years with T Myers and Sanheim. At that point fill in the right side on the 3rd pairing with a Gudas types on cheap deals, and move Myers for help upfront. From a leafs perspective, a kapanen / Myers trade would make a lot sense if Philly were to sign T Myers.
