Backlund is a great 2C on a great contract. No way they move him for that package.

Zucker is a top 6 beast, doubtful they move him for a 27yo 3C, unless more than a late 2nd is thrown in.

I wonder how Pitt is getting Zuccarello, when he's going to re-sign with Dallas?

They almost moved Zucker for Frolik at the deadline, not a mystery that MIN management wants him gone.

In regards to Backlund, he’s an average 2C at best, contract is okay for the production. Adding Horny makes Calgary the hardest team in the league to play against, with him on one top line and Tkatchuk on the other. The emergence of Lindholm this year makes the move a possibility. Also not hard to see the value of Jarry to Calgary.
