Description

Using Evolving Wild's prediction model with rounding for all signings. Pay Dallas a draft pick to move the Hanzel dead money our way for a guy who can suit up at a lower cash cost, and help them get picks back after they traded a bunch away. I think Strome would fetch more than just a 3rd right now with his streaky hot finish, but taking the last year of the Beleskey buried deal helps this tight cap scenario without having to buy out Staal yet.

I like the trades. I think we get a little more out of the MTL trade. Also I’m positive the oilers won’t give up Klefbom. Signings are good

I would add Strome to a package for a deal if need be or ship him separately for a 2nd or high 3rd. That trade is alright too since we get rid of a contract. Dallas trade is good, but on the Edmonton trade, I doubt they give up Klefbom, although the value is certainly fair.
