I agree Russell is to old to fit in to Detroit’s rebuild. What about a 3rd or 4th with some salary retention?

I agree. I also think Gardiner at more than $6M is overpaying. Now he will most likely sign for more than that.

I think the oilers D gets a bad reputation. I’m not saying they’re amazing but they’re capable. Oilers had Klefbom Russell and sekera all out of the lineup at once. No teams defence is gonna look spectacular when 3 regulars miss considerable time. They got Bouchard, Jones and bear coming up. Oilers need to upgrade their wingers and score some f*ucken goals.
