Thats a horrible idea so Here is an actual good one

Description
Instead of trading the actual good players that are rare to even draft. We trade our defenseman who aren't as bad as most people think but conbined they make a lot of money. Dump THEM if we have to. Use that cap space for defenders in free agency or try and swap them for better defenders. Minnisota should be a key team for any GM to look at when their GM and owner are willing to trade anyone on their roster including Dumba. but he would cost too much for what he's worth, spurgeon and brodin are great defensively and spurgeon has even shown he can produce as well.
When i say THEM i am referring to maatta, gudbranson, johnson. Even dumoulin if it comes down to it. And hornqvist and bjugstad should be traded before a kessel or malkin trade. No GM is dumb enough to trade Crosby. The same should be said for Malkin. Two generational talents and future hall of famers.

Prospects:
Drozg may have only played a few games in the SHL but that's the top swedish hockey league (playing against men and it's where Elias Pettersson played) and he averaged a point per game. Some may think his CHL performance after that could have been better but he lead his team in points and they were one of the worst teams in the league. And now at the world championship he had a multi point game and lead the tournament in scoring. Although his teammate was kopitar, remind yourself that they play for slovenia. Kopitar also spoke highly of him and said he was one of the most skilled wingers he's ever played with.

In short, he should make the team and Palve is worth a look on the penguins roster too as he averaged a point per game in finland.

Ottawa is not going to trade all of their first 4 rounds of draft picks for an overrated defenseman who lacks on defense. Defensive liability.

Minnesota rejects. It will take more to get one the top four in Minnesota. Last season they were considered a top 5 team before Dumba went down with injury. Brodin isn't flashy but is very solid defensively. Take Jack Johnson and his awful contract out and it's a discussion. If you keep him in the trade, it's at least a first rounder with him coming imo.

NJ rejects. Bjugstad is intriguing but Zajac is our guy and we won’t trade him plus he has a NTC. Gudbranson is kinda useless for us and we need legit a top 4 dman. Maata give us

Ottawa has 7 picks in the first four rounds. I fail to see how trading two of those is trading all of them.

I'd still make it a deal. And johnson's contract really isnt that bad at 3 million. He's played better than most people make him out to be.

You got the right idea but trades aren’t even close. Drozg never played in the SHL. He is a good player though but won’t be top 6. He should play in the AHL this year and then maybe could carve out a role on the 4th line the year after.

That’s a big no to Hainsey as well. Brodin would be a great fit but you would have to give up more. I traded for him in my ACGM check it out.

Alzner is very good, he isnt that bad. Alzner for Maata, if I was GM I’ll do it. ( sarcasm ) Stop trying to sell JJ, he’s garbage with a long contract.

All of there meaning Ottawa who will have 33rd Overall Pick, and the 94th Overall Pick.

you were saying he played in SHL he did not he played in SuperElite Jr. which is under SHL. Allsvenskan I'll give you that, but it's not as good as SHL.
