Flyers 20 Realistic Moves

Created by: sk540
Team: 2019-20 Philadelphia Flyers
Initial Creation Date: May 13, 2019
Published: May 13, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I say realistic, because I truly think Toronto would not be able to match 11.5mil AAV, they just can't. Word is Marner rejected their first offer of 9 mil AAV almost immediately, I know this is how negotiations go, but anything over 11 I think is impossible for Toronto. Additionally, with AV I think our defense is perfectly suited for his game now, and with added offense and defensive responsibility from our forwards, I think we will be fine without any additions, maybe a 5th/6th dman added around the deadline. we also still have plenty of cap space.

Offersheets are dead and would not happen. Good luck resigning Hart, Myers and Patrick because Toronto would like to get them if this unrealistic thing happens.

I like the idea here but what did you do with Travis Konecny? I think you forgot about him. He should be in place of Ferland.

Offer sheets were dead, its about time GM's start using them to their advantage, I fully expect an offer sheet OR TWO, be signed this offseason.

Additionally we have at least 11 million in cap space next year, more than enough to sign Patrick, Lindblom and Myers, without the calculation of the cap going up. Year after, that we are projected to have more cap space without two cap rise calculations, and only Hart to sign. If Frost and/or Farabee don't make the team this year, we wouldn't have to sign them until 4years from now.

Cap is fine brotha.

Offersheets are not happening brotha. If none happen in offseason dont be surprised. Especially if none happen to the Leafs. Jets are pretty much ****ed with their cap space as well maybe more than Leafs..

Well, technically you don't know, so you can't say they aren't happening, regardless of how you try to reason with me. As of now, it's just your opinion, as is my viewpoint that there will be 1 or 2 signed. Sure they will prob be matched, but just watch, I think there will be 1 or 2 this summer. There is an unprecedented number of RFA's that have played like they are on in their primes, while on teams with significant cap issues. This sort of thing hasn't been seen in the NHL, ever really.
