Detroit has no reason to do that. Pick #94 and pick #100 don't equal pick #35.

The widley used value chart for draft picks is what I based this off of which says 94 and 100 are slightly more valuable than 33. Maybe Detroit rejects it though, idk.

This is Yzerman's first draft and the draft isn't very deep. As I mentioned earlier this week teams do use these charts but they don't put much stock behind them it's just one piece of info they put together while considering making or accepting a trade. If that chart is the only thing your using to justify a trade it isn't a very accurate way to do it. Plus Detroit already has #97 and #103 they don't need 4 picks at the start of the round.
