Description

A lot of their own to take care of and Sakic mentioned they would target specific UFA, I think their previous interest in Hayes leads to them making him the 2C and they add Ferland as a middle 6 W that can move around in lineup, brings some grit, and can put up some pts. Bowers/Kamenov could be inter-changed with either another internal option or a minimal salary UFA

If they cant land Panarin, those UFA signings are probably the Plan B targets. Pretty realistic RFA contracts too. Only thing is Bowers doesnt make this team. AJ Greer if anyone would be on the bubble for an Eagles promotion

Yeah, general consensus is they'll pursue Panarin but may not get an audience (much like Tavares), but they will try for sure. I wasn't sure on Bowers' situation, but maybe they bring back Bourque on a minimum contract or Brassard for like $1 million on a 1/2 yr deal. Just need someone on cheap deal for either 3rd/4th line W, whether they bring back one of those vets or finally give Greer a real shot

Kamenev is their 4C locked in next year. I dont see Bourque and Brassard coming back. If they were going to bring any forward back on a cheap 1/2 year deal it would be Wilson but thats not as impactful to the bottom 6 (even though I like him but not to many Avs fans do)

Hopefully they bring back Wilson rather than Bourque or Brassard, but depends on the salary. Decent job though.
