I really like the idea of the trade... But I would rather give up a little more money and sign Myers... or let Welinski get a shot to play here.

Most scouts are saying avoid Myers. He's likely going to get overpaid. Edler is a fine pick up, but he would want closer to 6. I think Jordie Benn, McQuaid, or Polak could be steals around 2-3 Mil.

Dont like the idea of Myers, more of the same in Fowler. Welinski is my 7th defender.

Jordie Benn was my other thought, I didnt think Edler would as that much. Interesting.

He could very well go for 3 or 4 mil, since that is fair value. He's 33 and going to decline soon. But he came off a strong season so I can see him wanting more from a team thats not Vancouver.
I like Benn because he's still pretty undervalued but solid. Solid shut down D.
